The site contains three main areas of information:

1). Public access information and resources on the Feeling Like This homepage

2). A members only area - which contains additional handouts, worksheets and training resources. To use this you need to use the Login Form at the bottom left of the home page.

Once you have set up a username you will receive an email containing a link which you must click to activate your account. You will not be able to complete the registration process until you click this. This email is generated automatically. Occasionally people mis-type their email address when they register. The result is that no email arrives and they therefore cannot login to the members area. In such an instance either you need to re-register with a different user-name, or alternatively the Members list is reviewed on a regular basis and we activate usernames if it is clear that a mistype has occurred.

3). A Discussion forum area for use by users of the Feeling Like This book, or Church workers. NB: You need to register a separate user-name to use the Discussion Forums. This means that even if you have registered once as a Member of the Feeling Like This site you will need to register separately at the forum itself. To do this click the Discussion forum option on the left hand side of the Home Page and select the Register option. The forums provide a moderated arena where users and Church workers can swap ideas and advice in their own separate forums. Access to the Church workers forum is made possible only when work status is confirmed by email/letter - as described in the registration process.

Cookie issues:

Both the main site and the forum make use of cookies. To be able to access the sites these cookies must be present on your computer. If you find that even after clicking the confirmation email link to activate the main site membership that you still cannot access the site it is likely this is because of the way your Internet Explorer programme is handling cookies. To enable cookies please change your Internet Explorer cookie settings to low security.

To do this:

1). In Internet Explorer, select Tools, and then click on the Options tag.

2). Drag the slider to a low level of security that will allow cookies to be added.
